Amadeus Pro overview
Amadeus Pro lets you use your Mac for any audio-related task, such as live audio recording, digitizing tapes and records, converting between a variety of sound formats, etc. Thanks to its outstanding direct-to-disk abilities and waveform caching, edits on arbitrarily large sounds (even beyond the usual 2GB limit) are performed at lightning speed. The handling of large sounds is furthermore facilitated by the extensive support of markers. Its outstanding sound repairing and denoising abilities make Amadeus Pro particularly suitable for transferring vinyl records on CD.

So, when is Amadeus Pro going to be Apple Silicon (ARM M-Series) native? More than a bit late, but the dev has stated in his site forum that the next major revision will run native on Apple Silicon. IOW version 3.x. No release date has yet been stated. Apple currently says: "Apple will begin removing Rosetta functionality as of macOS 2 Rosetta is currently available for any Mac with Apple silicon, and it will remain available through the forthcoming macOS 27 — the next major macOS release. Starting with computers using macOS 28, Rosetta functionality will be available only for certain older, unmaintained games that rely on Intel-based frameworks." Still Intel-only. However, the dev states: "Amadeus on Sonoma and Apple Silicon:
The latest version (2.8.13) is fully compatible with macOS Sonoma and runs smoothly on Apple Silicon Macs."
